Gothic Décor, A Trend?
I love it when my favorites or default lifestyle becomes a trend, again. You can always well who just rides the fads and who’s excited to have easier access to what they’ve always loved. So, I thought I’d start off a categorical blog of trends for this year. I don’t know of 52 trends, so we’ll see how often it is, and the first is my default. Gothic Décor!
Now, I’m not completely sure what OTHER people mean when they say this, they could be flying buttresses and that would indeed be Gothic. However, I suppose they mean dark, moody, and an observation of life and death. Either way, sounds like fun to me!
Most of you aren’t going to go and paint a room black, maybe a door? So how and what can you do to add this mood if you’d like? Keep it simple - candles, bulky frames, dark muted colors, leather and other natural materials, and other nature and cosmic themes. I personally like to throw in some dark humor as well!
